It’s a month for important birthdays.
Not long ago we celebrated Annabelle’s big milestone, and today it’s time for yet another significant birthday.
Nathan turns the ripe old age of 25 (oh my!) today, and we celebrated over the weekend by getting in touch with his “younger days,” a birthday party complete with:
Funfetti cupcakes! (excuse the photo quality…it was too close to cupcake time to fuss with pictures)
Children’s party decorations and favors (including these super snazzy monster cups that had a space for writing your name…or for creating artwork, clearly).
And, of course, a selection of music from the ‘90s (ah, Ace of Base. Your music video dance moves are epic.) and party hats.
We’ll be continuing the celebration on Friday by going out to dinner (Nathan’s in grad school, so it’s tricky for us to go out during the week because he has evening classes). I grabbed a great Groupon deal for a newish restaurant in the area called FOODĒ, so we might give that a shot. Interestingly enough, they utilize a lot of meats that are from the area where Nathan and I grew up (not that we’re particularly far from home now, but it’s always interesting to see references to our county because it was such a small and rural area).
Whatever we do, I’m excited to continue the celebration and enjoy some tasty food!
Happy birthday, Nathan! <3

Aww! Happy Birthday Nathan!
Aww! Happy Birthday Nathan! The restaurant looks tasty! Especially the "lil' pots of turkey" on their apetizers . . .
