I tried switching to a "deodorant stone" a few years ago, and while I liked it, I also didn't feel like it worked as well as commerical deodorant. I have switched to cruelty-free products for almost everything and I do use some organic products (thank you, Burt's Bees).
Other than deodorant, the only other product I have a hard switching is mascara. I really love my commerical mascara and haven't found a good substitute.
